    Bloax, the data relating to the chunk saved correctly. However, in the optimization process, the order of chunks has changed, which caused incorrect work of SLADE.

    According to the PNG specification, ancillary chunks can have arbitrary position in the stream, respectively, the problem relates to the decoder in SLADE.

    TruePNG updated to version 0.4.0.4. In this version, I have slightly changed the logic of saving chunks and it solved the problem in this case.

    Thought I should have included parameters.

    I ran it with \"zc1-9 zm1-9 zs0-3 /fe /a1 /md keep alPh,grAb,tRNS\"

    Though it does say that it \"has\" the grAb chunk, it doesn\'t keep the data.

    You can check the data (in this case offsets) using this:
    http://slade.mancubus.net/

    Just make a new zip archive and import the unoptimized image, optimize it, and import that now.

    In my case the returned file had the quite useful offsets of 0,0

    Bloax, I failed to reproduce the problem. You take into account that the names of the chunks are case sensitive? Tell what parameters were used and in what order, what would I have been able to reproduce the problem.

    /md keep ****,**** Doesn\'t seem to work.

    Or at least it doesn\'t seem to preserve the grAb chunk of an image.

    Alex, it was a bug, download the new version. I also want to note that the parameters -na and -a1 are mutually exclusive.

    Wine worked perfect thx for the help.
    However I\'ve found a problem:
    www.cambiolibra.com/truepng/bul-org.png
    www.cambiolibra.com/truepng/bul-opt.png

    Org is the original image, and opt is the optimized
    - however please pay attention that the opt\'ed
    image\'s transparency is gone, and the black color
    is different.... My settings:

    wine TruePNG /na /zc9 /zm1-9 /zs0-3 /fe /a1 /i0
    /md remove all bul-org.png using TruePNG 0.4.0.2

    What can I do?

    Николай, если программа выводит help, значит, не был найден файл для обработки, указывайте полный путь к файлу. Нативное Linux-приложение собрать не получится.

    Не удается запустить TruePNG.exe на
    Windows 7 - запуск программы с
    параметрами test.png или test.png /o max
    выдает help, файл test.png лежит рядом.

    Как можно собрать утилиту для Linux ?

    Yes, for the Linux console 'wine truepng {params}', I checked in Ubuntu 11.04 with installed Wine 1.3.15, everything works fine.

    Спасибо! Хотя я ужо увидел что Color Quantizer дает еще лучший результат :) и умеет сразу каталогами :)) Пусть и путем сокращения цветов - но это практически незаметно, спасибо!

    Достаточно в командной строке написать: for %i in (*.png) do truepng %i /o max, для пакетного файла .bat или .cmd нужно указывать два процента т.е. for %%i ... truepng %%i ...

    А можно в TruePNG добавить пакетную обработку? Ну т.е. хотя бы чтобы можно было сделать \"*.png /o max\" - а не по-одному имени файла указывать :)

    у меня закрадываться подозрение, что т.к. майкрософт сделала бесплатный антивирус, ложных срабатываний у платных коллег будет все больше, нужно ведь как-то оправдать свою стоимость и важность перед пользователем...
